Temecula Man Suspected Of Robbery Arrested At Pechanga Casino | Temecula, Murrieta and Hemet Criminal Defense Attorney

A 28-year-old Temecula man was arrested Thursday, Dec. 5, on suspicion of robbing the Submarina California Subs in Murrieta.

According to The Murrieta Patch, a man walked into the sandwich shop in the 3300 block of Antelope Road around 6:30 on Wednesday, Dec. 4, and demanded cash from employees. It does not seem a weapon was used or implied.

The robbery suspect then drove away in a gray Nissan Armada, which was found a short distance later. It had been abandoned because it had flat tires.

The next day, police entered the Pechanga Casino around 5:30 and arrested the suspect without incident.

We are curious to know what it was that made police think this man did indeed commit the robbery. The suspect was wearing a bandanna over his face at the time, so his appearance was concealed. If there was anything like identifying security camera footage or fingerprints, police have not said so.

The man was taken to Southwest Detention Center in Murrieta and was later released on $30,000 bond. He is due back in court on Jan. 30.
