Lake Elsinore Man Accused Of Arson - Temecula, Murrieta and Hemet Criminal Defense Law Firm

Last week, authorities in Lake Elsinore have arrested a 31-year-old man on suspicion of arson. He was booked in Southwest Detention Center in French Valley and his bail was set at $50,000.

Detectives believe that the man intentionally set fire to his own home in the 253000 block of Marie Street.

The Detectives have not said what they believe the man's motive was. However, we know from working on past criminal law cases that people who commit arson often do so in the hopes of collecting insurance money. They are often driven to this drastic step by dire financial circumstances. Of course, a bleak financial picture is not an excuse to commit insurance fraud, but it does provide something of an insight into the minds of some people who allegedly commit arson.

As criminal defense attorneys, we have experience working with people who find themselves between a rock and a hard place, so to speak. With the assistance of an Arson Investigator, we review the facts and circumstances of the incident, assess the strength and weakness of the case and make a client's best argument in court. Many of our clients are grateful for the quality help we provide; with our teamwork approach to every case, they have a zealous advocate in their corner.

If you or a loved one is in need of speaking with a criminal defense attorney, please feel free to contact us for a free consultation.

Our office is located near the Southwest Detention Center and we assist clients from Corona, Hemet, Murrieta, Temecula, Lake Elsinore and the surrounding Riverside communities. We would be glad to be of assistance to you.
